Hello! My name is Courtney Rogers!

she / her - eclectic witch - queer - cat mom

    Back to the Basics

    1. Born in Michigan but raised by the whole map — I’ve lived in six different states.
    2. I was also born a Struchen (strew-shin; it's okay, nobody can say it).
    3. I wanted to be a fashion designer and a therapist. What a foreshadow for my future.
    4. Tomboy roots ran deep — scraping my knees, playing with hot wheels, and loving nature was like a full-time job. & It's not a phase, mom! My moody lighting skills may or may not trace back to that phase (it's a lifestyle!).

    Where is she now?

I am now rooted in Farmington, New Mexico, as of November 2025.

I married my best friend on Halloween — because obviously.

We share our cozy little life with two cats who basically run the place (and make frequent cameos in my social media).

I am a photographer trying to uplift her community with heart, and always showing up as an advocate and activist— holding space for others is my thing.

From capturing raw, tender moments behind the lens to cheering on the messy, magical parts of life — I’m here for all of it.

    My Mission and Vision

I want to create a space — behind the lens and beyond — where people feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Whether you’re laughing, crying, awkward, or unapologetically yourself, I’m here for the real stuff. The messy stuff. The stuff that matters. My goal is to witness and reflect back the magic in others — especially the kind they’ve stopped seeing in themselves.

I would love to be living in a  world where storytelling heals, connection empowers, and everyone has the chance to feel beautiful exactly as they are. Through photography, I’m working toward a more authentic, inclusive, and honest world — one portrait, one conversation, one brave moment at a time.
